Wild Awakening

Gitana Del Mar

Santa Marta, Colombia | February 8-13, 2027

An exclusive 5-night Caribbean yoga and meditation retreat designed for those ready to reset, reconnect and go deeper - set between the jungle and the ocean in Colombia.

Awaken the WILDNESS within you. Shift how you see your world. Expand how you show up.

Wake each morning to the sound of the Caribbean Sea...

Gitana del Mar Beach Retreat is a hidden sanctuary where the turquoise sea meets the wild foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, a place locals call the Heart of the World.

A rare convergence of ocean, mountains, and untouched nature.

Spend a week stepping out of your routine and into something slower, deeper, and more alive—guided by international yoga teachers, Trista & Erika, in a private, boutique retreat setting.

The kind of place that shifts something in you.

We have secured the entire retreat space, creating a fully private, intimate setting reserved exclusively for our group.

You’ll move, breathe, explore, and rest, supported at every step, as you deepen your practice and create space for clarity, growth, and a more aligned way of living.

With a limited number of spaces available (30) and full buyout of the property, this is a rare opportunity to experience Gitana del Mar in a way few ever will ... unhurried, intimate, and entirely your own.

You’ll leave feeling clearer, lighter, and more connected to the life you want to live.

“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.”

– Saint Augustine

An opportunity to awaken…

The Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta is a place of extraordinary natural and cultural significance, not only in a geographic sense, but in a deeply spiritual and energetic one.

For the Indigenous communities who have cared for this region for generations, it is understood as a living landscape shaped by balance, relationship, and reverence for the natural world, often described as the Heart of the World, or a center of life.

Its geography is part of what gives rise to that understanding.

It is the highest coastal mountain range in the world, rising from the Caribbean shoreline to nearly 5,700 metres within a remarkably compressed distance, where beaches give way to jungle, cloud forest and snow peaks within a single ecosystem.

That rare vertical range creates a powerful sense of connection between earth, water, and sky — lending the landscape an elemental presence.

During the retreat, you’ll have opportunities to practice and meditate in spaces that invite stillness, presence, and reflection, surrounded by a place many experience as both grounding and expansive.

Why This Retreat?

It’s easy to stay in the same patterns when nothing around you changes. This retreat gives you the space to step into the unfamiliar, to move your body, and be re-awakened what it feels like to be fully alive, embracing that wildness inside of you.

Over the course of a week, you’ll experience expert led yoga, meditation, breathwork, and yoga nidra, alongside nourishing meals, and deeply healing practices connected to Colombian culture.

Hosted at a secluded beachfront setting where jungle meets ocean, The Wild Awakening Retreat provides you the space to slow down, notice what’s working in your life, and the tools to choose differently.

Meet your Leaders

ERIKA BLAKELY

I’m a leadership coach, retreat facilitator, and Baptiste Certified Yoga Teacher with over a decade of experience creating powerful spaces for growth and transformation.

After walking away from a corporate career in accounting, I committed fully to the path of yoga and leadership. I’ve trained for over 1,000 hours with some of the most respected teachers in the world—including through The Baptiste Institute—and now co-lead 200-hour teacher trainings and lead international retreats that take people deep into themselves.

My work blends yoga, embodied leadership, coaching, and personal inquiry. I create experiences that challenge people to get honest, go inward, and reconnect with what matters—whether that’s on the mat, in conversation, or halfway across the world in a retreat setting.

TRISTA GEDDES

Trista’s journey with yoga began over 20 years ago, and from the very beginning, it became something much deeper than movement.

Her practice evolved into a way of navigating life itself, learning how to slow down, listen inward, and find steadiness through change.

Today, she shares that same approach with her students. Her teaching is rooted in over +600 hours of Ashtanga, Hatha, Yin, breathwork, and intuitive movement.

Creating space for people to step out of the noise and reconnect with themselves in a real and intentional way. Where people can soften, open, and experience meaningful shifts.

Her retreats are an extension of this philosophy: spaces to reset, reconnect, and return home to yourself.
